Downloaded blender 2.49 from an old file sharing link since the blender website has been down for months. This part went fine. I could not find anything titled blender249.blend so I skipped the 'drag it into blender.exe' part of the instructions. Instead I launched the blender program. NOTE: THIS VIDEO IS NOW OUTDATED. The latest version of SimpleBake uploads directly to Sketchfab. Manual uploading is now no longer necessary.This is a brief. So let's start Blender version 2.79 or above. If you have a look at the toolbar (T) you can see the newly introduced tabs. One of them should read File I/O and, if clicked, show the fields for Sketchfab uploads. The Unofficial Sketchfab Exporter add-on for Blender 2.8 This is a slightly modified and highly expanded version of the official add-on for Blender 2.7x. But most importantly, it now works in Blender 2.8. The add-on has been tested on both Windows 10 and Ubuntu 18.04.
The Sketchfab team is looking for feedback on the animation support of Blender 2.8 files. Any examples of problematic cases would be very welcome!

We are doing our best to support the widest range of animations, and although most of them should work without further modifications, there are still some edge cases in which uploaded models might not look as they do in Blender, or return an error after processing.
